This was probably one of the easiest things I ever replaced on any of my vehicles. On my 2010 Mazda CX-9 all I had to do was pull down the panel below the glovebox, removed the three screws holding in the old fan and unplug the wiring harness. Plugged the harness into the new fan, screwed it in with the three previous screws and put the panel back in place. DONE. ***HEADS UP*** If you are hearing a sloshing noise when turning left, your AC drain line is probably clogged. The water then runs into the fan...making the noise and eventually killing your fan. There are a few videos online that show how to clear this...pretty much comes down to blowing air into the drain exit. I had about a gallon of water come out when I cleared mine.
