This item does work with the KYB Excel-G struts but it does have some issues. First it is plastic and not rubber like the stock ones I have. Second getting the bumpstop on is easy with some twisting force but getting the bottom over the small metal spacer on the strut in the middle is a pain. I had to use a small screwdriver and some needle nose pliers to pull it over the round metal spacer and it seems to work. The only other issue is it seems to be a friction mount and there is nothing keeping the bumpstop in place like my last set, I see other people had a washer it seems as a stop but my set did not have a washer to install, Only time will tell if it will hold up.
