I bought five of these for my Classic Trucks new lower front and rear shocks and steering dampener. No sense installing new parts if you leave them unprotected from the elements. These were easy to install prior to installing the shock on my vehicle. I used metal stainless zip-style ties to hold them securely in place. I worred plastic ties would dry rot over time. You could also use quality stainless hose clamps, but you need different sizes for each end. Any vehicke part installation, the weakest part, will fail first and determine the longgevity of your new parts. These are very thick material and should not rip or tear easily. (I don't use the off road, so can't comment on that use). For street driven trucks, even 2wd, these are a great product and Recommended.
Only needed one bearing, but great price so ordered two. Installed exactly as it should. I torqued to correct spec. I suspect some people just use the the air and get hub bearings too tight, resulting in early failure. Certainly hope these last...
I use to buy Power Stop for my car always loved them. Now I have a jeep and I replaced pads and still making noise so it was the rotors cheap stock rotors. Went to my trusted brand and the noise is gone feels great I just put a black high heat paint on there just to prevent rust and hide brake dust thats just me. Oh I bought front and back.
